Pluto Retrograde: Integration of Past With Future

Yesterday Pluto stationed to begin his Retrograde transit. Newly in Aquarius Pluto has given us a glimpse into the future since March 23 when he made his big move leaving Capricorn behind temporarily. By June 11th Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn territory to finish out the year tying up loose ends and unfinished business from his previous cycle. He will remain in Capricorn until January 20, 2024 when he will again reenter Aquarius until September 1, 2024 where he once again retrogrades back into Capricorn not so coincidentally through election season here in the US. Then on November 19, 2024 he finally moves out of Capricorn and into Aquarius until 2043. This is when the real unfolding of all that is in store will begin.

What does all of this back and forth movement mean for us you might ask? Previously I mentioned that we would be integrating the old and new energies as Pluto makes this transition. With a Planet as powerful as Pluto it isn’t as simple as going from one to the next. Since March we’ve been given an idea of the areas of life personally, and on a bigger scale, collectively which Pluto intends to transform over the next 20 years.

Think about what has come up for you in terms of deep metamorphosis these last few months. This is where Pluto wants to take us through a slow, long term death and rebirth cycle. However, during this time old areas he focused on revolutionizing since 2008 continue to require more attention. So while we may now have an idea of what is coming down the pipeline we also must finalize what will soon be left behind. I believe some of our most important work has yet to be done in these last two short transits with Pluto in Capricorn.

Whenever we are doing really big work within our world we can’t just expect to snap our fingers and move from one huge transformative cycle to another. As we make a transition from one to the next there is bound to be some overlap and back and forth before entirely moving forward.

Use this time to slow down and go back over these crucial experiences since 2008 and all that has come to light since March. Globally consider the dark side of large organizations and structures that rule over our daily lives such as government, corporations, education systems, financial and religious institutions. These are the items that have been up for revision with Pluto in Capricorn. Anything that has a top down structure is being revolutionized right now because Pluto in Aquarius is about empowering the individual with bottom up structures. The future will be about transforming our entire world by fortifying our local communities to be better for all instead of the few who are in power. Pluto in Aquarius will also bring massive technological advances and completely change our perspectives about things we can’t even imagine.

Individually Pluto has transited one area of our lives since 2008. Guaranteed by now we already know where this is.
