So I’ve just been thinking about how we’ve had Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and now Taurus season so far this year. This is of course the natural order of things. What is not the norm is this year we have had Pluto move into Aquarius, Saturn into Pisces, The North Node of Fate shifting into Aries (upcoming) and Jupiter will also be moving into Taurus soon.
These are the primary, big energy shifts of the year. They just happen to highlight the natural order of the first four signs of the modern year representing one of each of the elements or one third of the zodiac. I find this to be very intriguing at this very important transitional time we are living in. What is the message here?
Of course with every sequence of New Moon we’ve had the polarity of the Full Moon opposite that sign. This regular cycle of opposition highlights the need for integrating balance. Also nothing new here but perhaps the intended application is something significant.
In this seemingly everyday order we are learning, practicing, preparing and subtly integrating these changes before they even happen. We’ve spent our lives exploring our own expression of these exact polarities individually according to how our own natal charts are laid out. In fact we’ve practiced them annually for our entire life during every first third of the year.
This simply amplifies the fact that we are in the “First Third” of a much bigger cycle. So if things feel difficult or overwhelming right now remember we’ve got this. We’ve been preparing our whole lives for this.
The lessons are simply getting more challenging because the stakes are getting higher. That is because right under our noses we’ve been growing into who we are today this whole time. We are the souls who were chosen to be here during this time in history for a reason.
If you ever start to doubt, simply look around at how we are supported. God, our Universe and nature, it is all connected. If we we will only pay attention the signs are all around us. This little anecdote is just one more example of how intricately it has all been constructed.
Anyone who has ever run a business or even worked for one knows just how important the first quarter, or first third of the year, is to the goals and growth of the organization. How the rest of the year’s plan unfolds hinges on what is done successfully during that period of time. Or rather anyone who has ever played any team sport knows that what is done at the beginning of the game in the first quarter, or even first third of the game, often sets the stage for who will ultimately win that game.
If this initial period doesn’t go well it becomes all about constantly playing catch up. I have a feeling this upcoming cycle is not one of which we want to be playing catch up in. I recommend keeping that in mind as we spend this year setting things up for the future. It’s crucial that we maintain a hyper focus on what matters most to us and direct our energy into doing what supports just that. I believe if we treat the next 12-20 months or so like they are the “First Quarter” we will find ourselves perfectly poised for the rest of this larger cycle.
So let’s get out there and play like it’s the first quarter!!!
