New Moon in Virgo: Get Ready for Lift Off

Today we have a beautiful New Moon in Virgo that is supported by a substantial formation of earth energy. The Sun and Moon are coming together in alignment at the peak of a Grand Earth Trine with Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus. Neptune in Pisces forms an opposition to this New Moon creating the kite aspect that lifts this formation in the direction of our dreams.

Have you ever tried to fly a kite? It’s not as easy as it looks. So many factors have to be just right for it to succeed. The environment has to be just so with no obstructions. The wind has to be right to give it support and trajectory. All four points of the kite must be strong and stable. If one point rips or breaks it’s all over. The person flying it has to have the patience and persistence necessary to get it into the air and it is next to impossible to succeed without another persons help. Even with all that sometimes it can still fail to lift off or end up in a tree.

This particular formation just like the kite we grew up playing with requires at least three planets to move into a triangle position that allows them to work in sync and a fourth to create some tension. The planet or luminaries at the opposite end of that tension, in this case the Moon and Sun, provides stability that allows us to launch long term plans just as the tail end allows the actual kite to stay in the air longer. This lunation is positioned perfectly to drive forward the tasks at hand in the detail oriented way that only Virgo can.

This aspect pattern represents the power of collaboration that is present within the sky and our world right now if we will only grasp onto it. It is a symbol of the potential for success & greatness we hold within. Earth energy is constructive and the key is in the “doing.” This makes it a great time to create things that you want to be around for a long time. It is supported by expansion, change and transformation that is driven by our dreams.

This sky has gifted us with the tools required for lift off we just have to grab our collaborators and grasp the reel.
