Mercury Retrograde in Taurus: Getting Back to the Basics

Mercury retrograde in Taurus began yesterday and runs through May 14th. A lot has been thrown at us this last week or so. Many of us have received new information and had significant revelations.

This retrograde period is the perfect time to seek out grounding. We will find cathartic healing by communicating with the earth and being outdoors. Putting our bare feet on the ground, our hands in the dirt and engaging ALL our senses will serve us well right now. Opening ourselves up to what nature, God and our Universe has to tell us is crucial as we make pivotal choices.

Within this earthing process we can seek to evaluate all that’s been brought upon us for review. I’ve said my word for this year is “refine.” I believe these three 2023 Mercury Retrogrades in earth are here to help us do just that. Surrendering to nature can help us to do this better than anything else right now because this allows us to get quiet so we can hear God and our Universe speak.

Between now and the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse we are identifying what needs to be let go of that doesn’t fit our new visions for the future. Some of these visions might have changed drastically out of nowhere with downloads and events the Solar Eclipse just this week revealed to us. We need this time to go inward and really reconsider things we thought we once wanted that may suddenly no longer fit. This is a time where forward movement is intentionally being slowed down to make room for mental processing because we need to reconsider and renegotiate our vision to encompass what has changed.

*A perfect example of working with this energy is my posting this today after Retrograde began as opposed to what I would’ve posted yesterday without taking the time to review my thoughts. Feeling a bit beat up from the week, as of last night I’d elected to not post at all because what I was putting together was so uninspired. By taking time and getting quiet I instead was able to hear the message I was meant to share with you instead of the rushed message I felt I must put out yesterday to be “on time.” Let me tell you it has much better served myself, as well as, all of you who read my posts that I surrendered to the energy and reconsidered things. I urge you learn to work with these beautiful periods of retrograde. They are just as important as the times we spend building and growing full speed ahead🙏🏻✨
