From Pluto in Capricorn to Pluto in Aquarius: Reality Check

We are now in the final days of Pluto in Capricorn before he moves into Aquarius next month. Pluto’s job is to threaten things we have become attached to which we have incorrectly placed our security and stability. Look at where we have been since 2008 when Pluto initially moved into Capricorn. Pluto has taken us on quite a journey collectively and personally in order to show us the instability within our lives and structures. Government, education, religion, corporations, media, our legal system and the very basic rules and regulations we live by have come into question. Relationships, friendships, families, homes, our very health and actual lives have been torn apart and destroyed by lies, politics, discrimination, financial institutions, medicine, big pharma, conspiracy theories, social media and personal opinion to the point that we now trust no one. There is no denying much which we have relied upon is not secure. The lesson seems to lie in learning to rely upon ourselves instead to provide that security.

As Pluto moves into Aquarius he will be shaking the foundations of our world, friendships, groups, communities and our very hopes and dreams. There will be overlap of these two themes this year as retrograde takes him back again into Capricorn mid year before moving into Aquarius fully next year for the long haul. Remember Pluto wants to help us to build on solid ground.

He wants to bring to light what’s hidden under the floorboards to ensure healthy growth in the future. He wants to show us the areas which we thought we were really good at but really aren’t because we were fooling ourselves. He wants to make the unconscious conscious. We’ve been sold and have also sold ourselves a lot of untruths. This is the only way we can deal in reality. Pluto wants us to have what is real.

So if you’re looking around at what’s happening right now and all that has transpired over the past several decades and questioning what, where and why. Try examining things from this perspective. Ask yourself do you want to continue to build on unstable structures where the rug can be pulled out from under you at any time? Or is it time to start forming attachments and placing your security on to that which you actually have some level of control over? As we make this transition it is time for a cold hard look at where we’ve given away our power, why and to whom.
